This tour will be a leisurely drive through the rolling hill's of the Derbyshire Dales, taking in the delightful villages and towns of Ashbourne (Shrovetide football & Gingerbread); Hartington (the counties earliest market place and home to ‘Stilton’ cheese) and Bakewell (puddings, tarts and real ales).
Then onto the ‘Wonder of the Peak’ – for an afternoon of visiting and exploring Chatsworth House.

Travel along the UNESCO World Heritage Derwent Valley and the cradle of the ‘Industrial Revolution’ as we visit the villages and towns and Richard Arkwright’s first water-powered cotton mill in the world at Cromford. Later we travel through the villages and towns of the Peak District to the ‘plague’ village of Eyam and Bakewell, home of the ‘Pudding’.
